Oktoberfest

Free the Hops was proud to present the first-ever Free the Hops Oktoberfest on September 19, 2009.

Despite the rain which affected the first hour of Session I, there was a good turnout; various German (or not) beers were enjoyed, along with a variety of food from Angels Cakes and Confections, the J. Clyde, and Rogue Tavern, as well as Rojo who supplied all the designated drivers.

Thanks to all the participating breweries and distributors who brought their beers for you to enjoy.

And finally, thanks are due to all the volunteers: those who worked through the morning rain to set up and then to pour beer to early attenders; those who poured beer and answered questions throughout the sessions; and those who stayed late to take everything down. We couldn't have done it without you!
