This past Friday night ~1,200 attended Tapped: A Food & Beer Pairing organized by Free the Hops and the Junior Board of the Autism Society of Alabama. Over $15,000 was raised for the ASA and that is incredible. I want to thank all the FTH and ASA volunteers who worked that night and everyone who donated for the silent auction.
Many thanks to Birmingham Beverage, Supreme Beverage and Birmingham Bud and the following breweries for donating beer to the event. We even had a pilot batch of a new stout Back 40 has been working on which was really cool of them.
Ted’s Garage was a great venue and everyone seemed to have a great time drinking some great beers from Lazy Magnolia, Terrapin, Back 40, Yazoo, Straight to Ale and Olde Towne. Not to mention good food from Maki Fresh, Jackson’s, J.Clyde, Blackwell’s and Mafiaoza’s.
Thanks for coming out and I hope everyone who attended had a great time. See you next year!
Thanks to 205 Photography for the great pics!
