Olde TowneOlde Towne Brewing Co. is closing its doors after almost seven years. Founded in 2004, Olde Towne was the first microbrewery in Huntsville, AL since prohibition was repealed. Olde Towne Brewing has seen more than its share of troubles including the original brewery burning down in 2007.

Olde Towne Brewing has helped Free The Hops with support in many ways, such as hosting the first Huntsville Chapter Event back on February 4th, 2006.

Olde Towne Brewing has meant a lot to Huntsville and the Alabama beer community.

To celebrate Olde Towne Brewing and to say farewell to their staff, The Nook will be throwing a farewell party for them this Saturday, February 19th. Many of the Olde Towne staff will be on hand so we can wish them well.

Finger foods will be provided and all available Olde Towne beers will be available on tap including Pumpkin, Porter, Hefeweizen, Amber, Emancipation Double IPA, and possibly more.

Please come out and show your support for Olde Towne’s Staff.

WHEN: Saturday, February 19th, starting at noon.
